The Freedom Fighter Initiative is an effort to bring fighters, athletes and military veterans into the fight against human trafficking. Human trafficking is modern day slavery, and it is bigger than it has ever been. There are an estimated 27 million men, women and children being forced into manual or sexual labor. From the sea slaves off the coast of Thailand, to the underage American girls being branded by their pimps in our own streets, this crisis is showing no signs of abating, if anything it is growing.
Our goal with this movement is to raise awareness and ignite some anger (with purpose) within the communities that we belong to. Our hope is that we can help, in our own small way, to end modern day slavery in our lifetime. To that end we have partnered with an organization right here in our hometown of Dallas Texas named Traffick 911. Traffick 911 is an organization that works tirelessly to fight domestic minor sex trafficking. Every time a Freedom Fighter tshirt, hoodie, hat, or any of our athletic apparel is sold a percentage of that sale will directly benefit Traffick 911 in their fight to free our youth.
We have also partnered with several pro MMA fighters, Muay Thai fighters, and military veterans who have caught the vision and are taking a stand with us against human trafficking. We would like to take the time to recognize 2 of these fighters in particular, Sean Spencer and Damon Jackson. Both of these gentleman have big fights coming up in the UFC. Damon fights January 30th at UFC ON FOX 18 , and Sean fights at UFC 196 . All the best gentleman, we thank you for your support and are honored to be standing with you against human trafficking.
