As some of you may know, today is human trafficking awareness day. If you don't know, human trafficking is modern day slavery, and it is a LOT bigger than you may think. By conservative estimates, there are more people in slavery today than there has ever been in history. Today is a day to recognize that this is a problem, not just around the world, but right hear in our own cities, spread the word, and look for ways to help fight. To that end we would like to announce that this coming Saturday, in cooperation with Freddie Poole's Martial Arts (freddiepoole.com), we will be hosting a women's self defense seminar to benefit Traffick 911, (traffick911.com) an organization working tirelessly to fight domestic minor sex trafficking in North Texas. If you live in the Dallas area, please join us this Saturday January 16th at 5757 West Lovers Lane suite #217. Call to reserve a spot (214) 352-5425.
Attendance is free, but we are accepting donations of $25 or more to benefit Traffick911. I've attached the flyer for more info, please feel free to print this and post it, or simply share it via social media. Spread the word, and lets fight this crime against humanity together.
Until we are all free!
